Is there anything better?

Just had some slices of sharp cheddar, summer sausage, and a bottle of Cabernet.

I love cheese in all it's forms. Sliced, chunks, melted, powdered, string, shredded......

My faves:

Pepper Jack
Sharp Cheddar
Mozzarella (with some good Proscuitto)

Preferably all melted and poured on chest.

If I ever get to the Great White North again, I'll try this, just because.

I was wondering what I was going to have for dinner. Now I have decided it will be something with cheese.

Smoked gouda
Gruyere
Stilton

Mmmm, cheese. I could be a vegan if it weren't for cheese.

Looove havarti.

I love all cheese.

When I found out I was pregnant and we were given a list of foods I couldn't eat, one of em was all soft cheese including Bleu. I cried. I'm a bleu cheese addict and family lore is that as a kid I'd eat it whole. I still do. Or did. Not for a few more months.

In the meantime: CHEDDAR! :D

Is that all bleus or is it more geared to the European bleus that aren't as strictly pasteurized and purified by the USDA?

I'm just curious like a cat. That's why my friends call me "Whiskers".

A couple delicious cheeses that we've been getting:

Guiness Cheese (guiness as veins through a firm cheddar-ish tasting cheese)

Yogurt Cheese with Jalepenos and Cilantro

Welsh Cheese with Mustard Seeds

(all available at your local 'Greenlife' grocery in Asheville or Knoxville)

I love smoked gouda, and havarti.

Right now I'm roasting chicken breasts marinated in lemon juice and olive oil, stuffed with sundried tomatoes soaked in red wine and herbed goat cheese.

In high school I won junior exhibition doing "The Book Shop Sketch," but two years later my brother Matt came in third with "The Dead Parrot Sketch," and a year later my youngest brother Mike didn't even place doing "The Cheese Shop Sketch." Ha. I rule, loser brothers.

Right now, all bleus. Some dr's will say it's ok as long as it is US pasteurized but the majority like to play it on the safe side and say you're just better off avoiding it period.
