alongdrive, those are all for the most part sad singer songwriter type, and buddy holly didn't have many sad tunes so i'd say Stephin Merritt - True Love Ways Daniel Johnston - It's So Easy Kristin Hersh - That'll Be The Day Elvis Costello - Peggy Sue Matthew Sweet - Think It Over Calvin Johnson - Maybe Baby Robert Schnieder (masquerading as his solo side project Marbles) - Everyday wow, i wish this would really happen |
