My parents are on this cruise/tour thing of Australia and New Zealand and my dad just called.....My dad is funny, I bet they are enjoying him...

His comments, inflected in his very Southern accent:

"Man, its TROPICAl here. We'd be burning up without A/C...."

I guess they're going out to the Great Barrier Reef. Too funny.

Yeah, he was so excited to tell me shit and I kept having people come in and the phone ring so I couldnt get a lot of info.

I'm just glad my parents can travel now. God knows they've worked hard enough.

Maybe Big Rick will box a kangaroo.

I can see my pops thinking this same thing actually---though I think(hope) his attitude on this trip is, "Well, I've never done/seen that before and probably won't be back this way so........"

Actually the reef itself is just so-so, but that barrier? Holy shit, that is one great barrier.

I fully expect that the australians are enjoying your dad more than the other way around. Only thing funnier than that would be MY dad over there, but that will never happen.

It's a good thing you clarified that he was "LIVE" in Australia, although speaking to him dead would have required more of an explanation.
