Just read that J, Lou and Murph are in MA working on new material. I'm sure most people around here will think it's silly and the old sound can't possibly be re-captured (which is true) but for me, this is fantastic news...

i'm one of the few that prefers post-barlow dinosaur jr, so this doesn't excite me too much. as mentioned on another board (and probably by a thousand people elsewhere), there is a good chance that this recording session reminds j and lou why they dislike each other.

I agree. J's used to playing all of his own instruments the way he wants them played. Could be recipe for disaster but judging from their comments over the past few months they've matured a little since the old days so maybe it won't be so bad.
