we dig in real life.
i find that half of the thrill with vinyl is in the pursuit. i've been looking for odessey & oracle and the black saint and the sinner lady on LP for years. and when i hopefully do find them, it'll be really gratifying because i'll know that i didn't leave one record unturned. online record shopping is almost like cheating. you might as well get the CD.
That's true, and don't worry, I've been searching every record shop I can get to. But I may be tempted to cheat once or twice
Edit: Secondary question: What are the best record stores in LA? Amoeba, obviously, and I've been meaning to make it down to Fingerprints in Long Beach. I also frequent Benway, Soundsations, and The Record Surplus (Venice, LAX area, and West LA respectively). Any good stores I'm missing?
