This one may be easier than the other, but I hear people say this one incorrectly all the time. It drives me crazy.

"I couldn't care less" in that, I have physically reached the end of my ability to further care. There is nothing left.

Thank you. At least the majority of obners, if not all(at least those polled), know the correct answer. It drives me crazy when someone says, "I could care less" because they then make their following statement insiginificant.

I always liked "irregardless" too.

"Irregardless" is non-standard, but acceptable.

Ish is right. I hate it too, but it's been used for years, and experts are divided on whether it's actually just a misspeak of "regardless."

(This has nothing to do with the use of 'irregardless', but when I input 'recognize' as my search-term in Google image-search, the photo above came up on third page of returned values... and I really think I owe it to the board to post it, as it displays several fuh-worthy (Penn State) females.... ColinUK, you best recognize.)

"I could care less" is also correct- or at least I can see how it is. But in the words of Steven Pinker (who, even if you dont agree with, has a pedigree that is more bullet-proof then my own):

"The melodies and stresses of [”I couldn’t care less”and “I could care less”] are completely different, and for a good reason. The second version is not illogical, it’s sarcastic. The point of sarcasm is that by making an assertion that is manifestly false or accompanied by ostentatiously mannered intonation, one deliberately implies its opposite. A good paraphrase is, “Oh yeah, as if there was something in the world that I care less about.”"

As an alternative but still supporting the notion that "I could care less" is not "wrong" read here and here

I get to be the red cup. Not the one bottom left.

Is it just me or does it look like some of the girls in that pic got airbrushed? Specifically, the one in front and 2nd from the right.

Hey! There's someone else in that picture!

(I saw it when trying to determine airbrushing.)
