Go the The Block. East Baltimore Street, a few blocks east of 1st Mariner Arena. Dirtiest titty bars on the planet. It's incredible.

Sound Garden. Best music store in town. On Thames Street in Fells Point, just east of Inner Harbor.

The National Aquarium is nice, but I haven't been in years. Inner Harbor.

Where are you more specifically and why are you there?

Think back to your hotel setup days... go see movies alone, sit around at the hotel bar, but this time don't hook up with any lonely 50-something-yr-old ladies. Not that there's anything wrong with it.

I believe my stance on older woman crushes is well-documented, m'dear.

edit: specific to this case, Busty is no longer the eligable bachelor he was then, and thus should not be hooking up with Anyone, theoretically.

Nada Surf & Rogue Wave at 8x10 Club [Federal Hill, Cross Street, I think] on Wednesday. If you're into that sort of thing.

Don't feed the panhandlers. And don't fall in the Inner Harbor unless you've had your shots.

...Why are you in Baltimore again? :?

If you would've made this known, I could've made the drive over.

Fells Pt. is my vote. Plus, if you are so inclined the National Aquarium is badass.

Def. hit up Sound Garden

shows for this week in Balto:

2/8-Nada Surf/Rogue Wave @ 8X10 Club

OPA lives in Bmore?

Def some good record stores there. Pick up a "City Paper" as soon as you get in, that will tell you all about the local shows. I think they run Thursday-Wednesday, or Friday-Thursday, so you may have to get another one when they come out on Wednesday.

I'd offer to meet up with you, but I'm busy during the week with work. Sorry. Besides, I'm boring in real life, so it's not like you're missing anything.

I'm actually staying in uh, Ellicott City. I'm here for work. Gotta get four different bike shops on our software by Thursday end of day. Should be fine if everything goes well. But it never does, so we'll see what happens.

Damn I'd actually love to go see that show. I just might have to make a point to do that. You going Fu?

Thanks for all the suggestions. Just got done working out so no time for anything else tonight but DAT CHICK-FIL-A right next door.

Oh, yeah, definitely the aquarium. Fucking awesome. I've directed tourists from DC to Baltimore just for that.

And no, I haven't been there in years, neither, so check make sure they still have the shark tank.

Chick-Fil-A was AWESOME! There is nothing on TV.

I wish I was home but not tonight. My gf's Mom called and said that my dog ate of my gf's shoes. She just got those. I went ahead and told her to take the dog for the night cause I didn't know for sure if the dog would make it till morning.

That dog has openly eaten three or four shoes totallying about $1200.

All hers, not mine. he he.

This is what you should do plus the Nada Surf concert.
Fu should be your guide.

I'm doing Race Pace in Columbia, Westminster, Ellicott City, & West Mills.

Guess I should get my ass in gear.

Find me 650c tires with traction so I can turn my racer into a midget commuter and I'll buy you a drink at the Ottobar.

Work's really work this week, and I'm a relatively low-fun obner, but I might go out Thurs - a pal invited me to something I forget the details of.

You could also check out the Visionary Art Museum (in the absence of the Dime Museum) and the great, doomed view from the associated restaurant.

I remember passing by there once last summer, but I can't remember why I didn't go in.
