Mainly Chuck D with a bit of the self. Maybe even seamonster?

This past weekend
Friday: 6 or 7 double gins (half of them OJ, other half Tonic)
Saturday: 10 pints of Guinness, 2 two half-yards of Carling (each of them in one swig), 6 or 7 shots

I got sick last time I had Guinness. Allergies again.

That's the booze equivalent of being impotent with a naked Liv Tyler.

It's unthinkable. And infuriating.

monger-in-training. i feel the need for a food product containing reprocessed cheese.

I am having to edit every other word for spelling/typographical errors right now.

This evening:

still at school - 2 beers
at bar for dinner - 2 super-strong gin & tonics, PBR for rehydration
at home - 2 or three beers, i haven't been keeping track (plus a few more, i could go count the recycling if you want)

monger in training.

my skull hurts. and no, i don't have the assignment done yet.

You know, I've found that massive amounts of homebrewing have widened, rather than narrowed my tastes. Sure, I can drink the hell out of some Chimay or Orval, Some McTarnahan's or some RABC beer, but now I can also settle in for a good night of mongering. Start off with a good stout from my homebrew stash, move to a pumpkin ale, from a blonde into the high domestics, and descend down into the PBR and Tecate without ever offending my palate.

Even when I drink Tecate I am trying to figure out how I could make a beer like that.

But, oh yeah, I'm drunk.

this applies to saturday night:

drink a couple of beers, head to cousin's house
drink a few glasses of cheap cab sav
head to concert: dewayn brothers, small stars, white ghost shivers
drink lone stars, tanq & tonics, more lone stars
dance, motherfucker, dance
get totally and completely tanked
dance jitterbug with friends, strangers, punch my friend chris in the shoulder, grab my friend Kelly's mohawk, declare my undying appreciation for their friendship
get up on stage with the white ghost shivers, dance, kiss female singer on the lips.
carpool back to cousin's house, drink beers, friend pulls out bottle of bourbon. i take pulls off the bottle, every time exclaiming that scott is "puttin' poison in my belly"
about 6AM head home (with companion) after scraping ice off my windshield with a credit card.
wake up around 1:30 feeling utterly poisoned, spend day mongering and recovering.

nothing to drink yet yesterday or today.

going back in time, what i drank friday night:

What is the Irish Whisky I had last night? Smoother and with a sweeter finish than Jameson, and the label/bottle has a pair of birds (holding a scroll?) toward the bottom. My new favorite bartender Lisa bought me a shot of that last night, and showed me the tattoo of the birds which reside betwixt her alabaster shoulderblades.

I was feeling all right last night - holding off on the good stuff, I kept well-hydrated on PBR for several hours, then did a shot of Jager & a chaser, then a couple more PBR tallboys, then a shot of the mystery whisky and a chaser, then a Boodles and tonic (holy yumness), then a couple more PBRs. Woke up at 2PM today.

Will repeat tonight. Need to hang with the ATL boys SOON.

recovery food - eggs, grits, coffee, cigarettes.
