On a side note, I like their "At The Organ" EP.

I downloaded it off eMusic last night and listened to it on the drive to work this morning. It is phenomenal! Despite my earlier analogy to Secretariat, Destroyer's Rubies will have a very hard time keeping this out of my #1 spot in 2006 (so far). While I enjoyed Down With Wilco, this blows it out of the water.

I especially think E. Fu and Sen. LooGAR will dig this, and perhaps even Rads.

I've heard bits-n-bobs of this and posted a track a month or so ago only to be shot down by several folks here. What I've heard didn't supplant DWW as the better of the two, but I'm more than willing to hear this in its entirety.

If I thought "Down With Wilco" was boring, didn't listen to it more than 1.5 times, then sold it, would you recommend listening to this?

Yes, this is WAY more upbeat/lively/catchy than DWW. There's also some edge to it, as well.

On a somewhat-related note, given the homestate of your betrothed, could the "mo" in "mofo" stand for the abbreviation for Missouri? Then again, maybe not. Never mind. Not only is that in poor taste, I just remembered to ensure full accuracy, it would have to be "ksfo."

Carry on...

You're a wise man, Kurtz. I don't have access to YSI here at work, thanks to Websense, but I can e-mail you one track at a time if you have an account that allows the receipt of large files. PM me and lemme know, CK1.

Yeah, I could be described as "highly dissapointed" in DWW, but I wanna hear this.

I'd like to hear this too. Are Stringfellow and Auer involved?

I'm interested, but I thought Down with Wilco sucked too. I did like one song though.

This was recently added to my "to check out" list. I haven't heard full songs yet but the 30 second iTunes clips I heard sounded pretty damned good.
