what song would you cover, at an open mic or in your very own show. Thas has to be just you and a guitar and a mic. I am not talking full band production. What song would you do that you think would be good.

Me: Velvet Waltz - Built to Spill.

I'd pay to see that, and then buy you a beer afterwards.

I have only participated in Karoake once, and I did "Beth" by Kiss and "Behind Blue Eyes". After the second song, I kicked over a monitor and jumped off the railing into the sparsely populated table area.

Oops, I screwed the thread up, I need a whole band for all my songs. I'm grandiose in all of this

Golden Earring, "I Can't Sleep Without You"

Mostly just because it's such a great song. I could do a whole EP of Golden Earring covers.

But really, I'd like to be that guy that I've seen at some synthpop shows that does covers of current synthpop songs
