Anyhow, work kept me from taking Stace to the airport, so i said fuck it and went to work out, and that's why I missed this thread. I didn't know Rami was here from Hawaii...

So what's the deal, how'd you find out he was coming? Are you guys cousins or ex-coworkers or something?

i sent him some mixes awhile ago and we've been pm'ing since. he asked me about what was happening this week in some of them.

dinner was pleasant. and i made a pretty nice score at reckless afterward. that's a good evening right there.

I nearly pulled a Hollywood style "I need to get off the plane!". Seriously.

Lowlights from my evening included this fun bus outing:

Dazed-looking guy to dude playing hip-hop through the speakerhone settting on his phone: "TURN THAT MUSIC DOWN OR I'LL FUCKING SHOOT YOU! TURN IT DOWN NOW!"

Music-playing dude: "Hey man, I ain't trying to hurt anyone. Calm down."

Dazed-looking guy: "YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...TURN IT DOWN NOW OR I'LL PULL A GUN ON YOU!" (dude then starts shaking his gym bag in the other dude's face)

At this point, the bus driver pulls over and asks the music-playing dude to turn off the music and move to a different seat. He does. Dazed-looking guy follows him, gets in his face, and says "I SHOULD JUST KILL YOU RIGHT NOW!"

The bus driver then told the dazed-looking guy to get the hell off the bus, and the other dude asked if he could "fight the guy and then get back on the bus." The driver said no, the dazed-looking guy got off, and we were on our way. Oh, and I should mention that this all happened around 6 on a crowded bus in Z's neighborhood...and the two guys were blocking my seat and the exit, so luckily nothing awful happened. The crazies don't only come out late at night.
