He was the songwriter in Brinsley Schwarz not named "Nick Lowe". Yet he wrote some pretty amazing songs, too.

I know he has a couple of solo albums.
Anyone heard them?
Are they worth it?
Which ones should I get or is a "best of" comp available and all that I need?

Help and direction would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I don't currently own anything by him, but used to have 24 Hour Service on vinyl. The one with "Hold On" on it.

He and Lowe each had their one big hit fairly close together. Both 1979, wasn't it?

Suposedly he has some good material, but I don't know as I've heard much of it. If so, it was so long ago, can't remember.
