If you can help, I'd really appreciate it. I have to write a film script (at least 110 pages) specifically for a 23 year old Albanian immigrant woman with a little bit of an accent, but her English is pretty good. Any ideas? You guys are pretty creative when you wanna be, aren't you?

Why not write a story about a 23 year old Albanian immigrant woman with a little bit of an accent who moves to New York and asks a pretend-gay Greek guy to write an unspecified story for her? It's kinda non-sensical and circular like a Lynch flick.

I agree with BillyR, you should definitely write yourself into your script.

Just take a successful script like Pretty Woman, but change hooker to Albanian immigrant woman, and maybe make her a maid like J.Lo was, and then you could have her fall in love with an average joe, but they have a misunderstanding, so she gets picked up as a maid by some rich guy who's got a horrible wife, and they find comfort in each others loins, i mean arms, but then the rich guy has an attack of remorse because of his kids, and the albanian chick reconnects with average joe, but she's conflicted because the rich guy was much better in the sack, but the average joe understands her better, and then you can end it with her being with the average joe, but still consoling the rich guy who pays her inordinate sums of money for being his maid. That way she still gets a loving, nurturing, understanding relationship, and yet, still gets the hot sex she needs with a guy who needs consoling too, but is kind of likeable in a milquetoast kind of way.

Or something.

and then she doesn't know who her baby's daddy is, and has to tell the guys. And then it's like 2 men and an Albanian immigrant and her illegitmate baby. What a slut. It's more like Pretty Woman than i thought.

The neighbors downstairs could be suspicious but a young boy and or girl could believe that she uses her magic (which is really just kindness and sometimes confusion about American customs) only for good.

Basically it's about a 23 year old Albanian woman who, after the collapse of Communism, builds up a hardware chain. Her hardware chain grows until it completely dominates the entire Albanian economy and she soon buys her way into power.

However as she struggles to cope with being Albania's first woman President she begins to crack under the pressure and is soon tormented by visions of Enver Hoxha slaughtering peasents with a Bosch power drill.

The visions become more and more frequent until she goes deranged during an address to parliment carving up several members of the Opposition with a chainsaw before shouting "I am King of Albanian forever! 25 Lek off a bag of nails!!!". She is then gunned down by Hysen Zmijani, the owner of a rival hardware store, who had forewarned the Albanian people something like this might happen.

i think my story line rocks.

Also incorporate the part where she tries to marry a gay Greek man to get her green card. And the hilarity that ensues.

Then the albanian woman falls in love with him and tries to turn him straight by being naked in front of him all the time except she's obscenely obese and it backfires big time .

How about making a movie about an Albanian woman hitch-hiking to America. From each person that helps her hitch-hike, she steals a CD. She'll listen to all these CDs and have her life changed by listening to the Shins. If you don't want her to be drive to America, but instead be realistic, you can have her sell all these hot CDs and buy a plane ticket with the money.

She then comes to America and has you write this movie. She has no money at this point, so she pays you with her body, which you accept, despite being gay, which enrages your boyfriend. Etc.

i've got about a dozen script ideas i'm sitting, none for that particular role though.

ok, here's one off the top of my head...the woman's name is Magda.

Magda has been living in New York for about 4 months working as a nanny for some well off family. The parents are nice people but workaholics. The kids are 5 and 8 yr. old girls, both relatively normal, but also very very active with school, dance, sports, piano, etc.

She befriends a native New York girl, also in her early 20s, born and raised in some well-to-do neighborhood in one of the bouroughs, now going to NYU. Her name is Diane.

The conflict: The parents have a faux-kindness toward her, they treat her fairly but also unthinkingly as a servant. She raises the kids, tutors them, does a whole lot more and the whole nine yeards, and the job is pretty thankless except for the fact that the parents let her stay with them, and pay her more money than she's ever seen before (even though it would be an average pay by our standards) . Magda enjoys the kids for the most part, and would never complain or in any way disserve the family.

However, her New Yorker friend Diane thinks she's being taken advantage of, and also thinks that the city is ripe with opportunity and Magda is missing out. Diane means well for the most part, but it also becomes more and more apparent that she's not as mature and knowledgable as she thinks she is. The problems arise when Diane encourages Magda to question authority, and starts to plant ideas that the parents are treating her poorly, and that Magda deserves more. More problems arise when Magda is pulled in two different directions, one towards the kids and reponsibility, the other towards fun and the night life.

Conclusion: Well from here Magda can either grow as a character, realize that her priorities should be taking care of the family, and ultimately persevere through the problems caused by Diane's intervention. OR - She can fall deeper in Diane's world, do the typical twenty-something experiementation phase, and ultimately lose her job...eventually Diane will move on, not thinking about the fact that she's Magda's only friend, and Magda will be sad and alone.

there ya go - it practically writes itself!
