...and you're semi-proud of what you are doing/have done, post your website here.

I'm trying to collect a general listing of them all so that I can keep tabs on all you music-makers.

erm, yeah: www.bonsavants.com

i'm also doing some solo composition shit at home with my 8-track right now that i will be hosting on a myspace music profile at some point. the idea is to keep things to around 2 minutes per song and make do with whatever effects and wizardry is present on the 8-track (a Boss BR-8). i was messing around with a doo-wop vs. drone soundscape thing last night, but have yet to do any mixing or editing. anyhow, it hopefully won't be as self-indulgent as it sounds...:)

Hit 'browse artwork' to see everything that's there. Nothing new in the last 6 months, however.

did this in other thread and it's not my band but boarders who haven't found their way here just yet...

www.riviera-sound.com

They're getting back into some minor touring the next several weeks and their album is supposed to be released around February/March.

Excellent, thanks everyone.

Sidenote:
There was one band in particular I could remember reading about and I was interested in checking up on because I believe they occasionally played shows in Toronto, but I couldn't, for the life of me, remember who it was. And it turns out it was Marlowe.

I'm a band, our fansite is awesome, we're mostly halfassed and really need to record a new album (probably the drugs)...
http://www.halfmanhalfhorse.com

I have a rather dormant label (probably the drugs) with one awesome release (and lotsa of comment spam)...

Probably the Drugs would be a great name for a label.

we're just about done w/ our new record, so I'm hoping that at the very least, roughly mixed tracks from the new disc will be able to be posted soon.

Our band is in the process of recording, but we don't have a website and I'm not gonna post the name of the band cuz the name's not registered as a website and no one else has thought of it.

Besides, we suck.

fp

Oops- just saw the "semi-proud" part. Too late.
