So my brother got married earlier in the year and as a present my dad gave him the equivalent of $750.

Now I guess to be fair, a parent would normally give the same amount to the other son at their wedding but since my dad (along with the rest of the world, including myself) considers me a total loser who will never manage to get anyone down the aisle (probably a correct assumption, in truth), he has choosen to give me it now.

So basically I have a sort of 'Loser's Windfall' of roughly $750 in cheque form on my desk at home. I have a few ideas (digital SLR, clear credit card, invest in bonds and forget about it for 10 years, fritter away on cd's and cafe lunches) but the question I'm really asking is this.

If someone gave you a cheque for $750 what would you do with it?

You really owe it to your dad to spend that $750 on a Russian mail order bride.

Well make sure it does not bounce first of all.

Then go and get some sun. I'm thinking Fuerteventura, lots of cheap wine and learn to windsurf.

How far can you get travel-wise with $750?

Get out of the country and go somewhere fun.

Only unless you do it with the intention of not running it up again.

pay a hooker $20 to call up your mom
and tell her that she's been having an affair with your dad.
ahhh..high school pranks aplenty.

i seriously discussed:
escorting one car full of 15 clowns
and one car full of full fledged nymphos
to my high school reunion
to watch them fuck.

didn't happen.
but i did talk about it.
and it was worth it cause it made message board space.

but see my post above.
now that's the stuff.
cause it happened.

if i had 750 spare dollars.
i'd probably put it towards a new laptop.
