Hampden-Sydney? Man. I'm not sure you could have paid me to attend school there. Wreck a dozen of them dudes for me.

I don't know, it IS the second most conservative school in the country according to Princeton Review. If a bunch of golf-sweater-wearing, racist Miller Lite poster children doesn't sound like the perfect college to you then maybe you just weren't made for college.

I was going to ask where to send an anonymous non-alumni donation, but the sweater-wearing is a deal-breaker for me.

They already have one; it's mom's. They go and do in there, since that's a ballsier gesture.

My prediction for the night:
cemererypolka is going to get her ass pinched and beer poured on her head. Blue Milk will cower under the power of a coked-up frat boy's New Balances after he tries to defend his gf's honor and gets pummeled. He will then have a beer poured on his chest. The band will provide really rocking background music.

The Truckers will obliterate any/all background noise. Little else is assured.

You say Hi for me, CP. And picture a younger, longer-haired Cap'n watching them in Athens GA in the mid-90's. If you want.

I'm jealous. They don't come to Wisconsin much.

It doesn't seem possible (I've been called "ma'am" twice in the last 7 days), but I did.

i haven't ever seen you! so i'll be picturing a long haired computer screen.
:(

one day you'll see them again. i'm sure you will.
this is my first time, and i'm excited.
the manager of the record store i go to got one of the band members into the rolling stones when he was 11. they lived in the same neighborhood. so he goes and sees them perform and sits in with them while they record.
he always has a story to tell about some band. he even had stories about sun ra.

But with longer hair. Much, much longer. And I couldn't buy my own keg then, neither.

Awesome. What are housing prices like in 'sconsin?

I need to move out of this state, though I'm not sure if I'm up for somewhere wintry.

Housing prices in WI-at-large are great.

Housing prices in Madison are colon-cleansing.

This is an 830-sq. ft condo, the bottom floor of a totally-renovated 100 yr old house. I have an upstairs neighbor who may (or may not) bring home 8 drunken retarded friends on any given Saturday 2am and proceed to stomp around till gravity wins. We paid $219.

I design for a living. I have no use for college kids, especially ones who think they are geniuses, so on second thought, Madison is probably not my speed.

Just for comparison, I can't find a house in this county (outside of almost south Baltimore slums) for under $250. Including condos, townhouses and sheds. It's possible, but very unlikely to find much under $300.
