Which turntable should my parents buy me?

My parents are getting me a turntable for Christmas and they wanted to know what I wanted. From previous threads on this topic, I've narrowed it down to either a Music Hall 2.1 or a Technics sl-1200 mk used. Which should I get? Recommend something different if you think these choices suck.

The Music Hall is a much more popular entry level player amongst audiophiles (who have been known to spend insane amounts of money on so-called "turntables"). I'm sure there are other choices, but I don't think so at that price level. Perhaps the lowest price Rega. P3?

So, anyway, I voted for the Music Hall, that's not a bad choice at all.
