After flipping back and forth between these channels for an hour today, I conclude that this stuff is made for people who don't really like music. Every video looks exactly the same, every song follows the same formula, and Toby Keith is still putting a boot in your ass because it's the American way.

Yeah, it's no MTV2.

THAT is funny.

I'm no fan of ANY of the "music" channels, but I did stumble across CMT the other night when they were showing a program about the early days of "Southern Rock" that brought back some fond memories due to some film footage I'd never seen before- The Second Coming, with Duane Allman and Jaimo sitting in, playing free concerts on Sunday afternoons in Jacksonville, Riverside Park. Made me pull some early ABB rekkids out yesterday- they were a very fine band in the early days.

You know what I'd like to see?

Black country videos. Maybe Chappelle will do one.

CMT Has some pretty cool specials.

They play some crap, but Borg, so do we all.

I'll give it another shot during a different time of the week. One channel was playing new music videos and the other had something on called Trick My Truck.
