From Hampden Sydney. Well... my night was amazing, to put it in simple terms.
We arrived around 7:45, smoked a little, and went in to a nearly empty gymnasium where they'd be performing. I had to endure a terrible jam band who opened for them, but once the Truckers went on it was fucking fabulous.
They are one of the best bands i've ever seen in my life. What a great way to kick of 2006 for shows.
I was nearly dead center leaning on the stage. Patterson sweated on me, and got down on his knees and played the guitar right in front of me, for me I guess. I got a kiss on the hand.

I also got to hang out on their tour bus.
All thanks to a wonderful man I know, who has known the band for years.
If they come your way, don't hesitate, go. Definitely go.
It was a great experience. They only played a small amount of songs off the new album. They did play Daylight, off the new one, which is my current favorite.

I think it's pretty cool I can refer to them on a first name basis. Patterson complimented my t-rex shirt. :)
Tonight was great.
Great great great. Amazing. Fabulous.

jason told me to tell my english teacher that there were 12 shakespeares and if she doesn't agree tell her what she says is bullshit.
i don't know. i had a good time.
the couch on their bus is incredibly comfortable.

I don't care what he told you, that's MR. ISBELL to you...and whereis monty with the crude sexual innuendo when you need him?

Whoa! That does sound like a pretty good night, to put it mildly. You is VERY lucky.

They're pretty much top of my list of bands I'll love to see but probably never will.

Yeah he was there on the bus and I got to formally meet him too. Last night blew my mind. Seriously...
He told us he liked the cute Shakespeare, when Jason (Mr.) said that there were 12 of them.

The show was great.
I want to turn back time. I wish I did my math homework before I left.
The only ones who hung out and talked were Patterson, Mike, Jason and Brad but I think he left shortly thereafter.
