now on my new computer when i post the code it comes up on the site as JUST code.

like this:

and grammar people, should it be "a HTML question" or "an HTML quesiton"

"a" sounds wrong, but it seems like it would be right.

view the source of the f-ed up page, and you'll see that whatever editor you used converted the tags to content, and wrapped it all with new HTML headers. what did you save it with on your new computer?

EDIT: my guess is that you posted the text into a WYSIWYG editor as content, as opposed to code.

first i did it with just a text editer as i am used to doing, and then i tried with GoLIve. But the results were the same with both.

i'm not sure what your edit means.

WYSIWYG = what you see is what you get (like Dreamweaver). So if you pasted the code into the main view, it would think that was how the page was supposed to look.

But if you just used an ordinary text editor, i'm not sure. How are you uploading these to the server?
