I must admit, I did. So far, I'm not impressed.

The chick from Connecticut is terrifyingly skinny (former bulimic), but she seems to have a LOT of other issues as well.

The asshole with the blow-up doll immediately turned me off.

Yet another caricature of gay men with the gossipy one on there.

The Russian girl is pretty, but will get her heart broken, I predict.

Vashon Island, WA boy seems cool, if a little unkempt.

The bi-racial girl is beautiful, but I sense attitude.

And where the hell did the Latino boy go? I saw him briefly as they were driving to the house, and then never saw him much more the rest of the episode. He's clearly the level-headed one of the group. Probably will be out making money most of the season, while the other retards get drunk.

My husband's gut feel is that the skinny girl has something really creepy in her closet... like getting raped by a family member.

I tend to think he's right. Its hard to imagine anyone like that being so socially inept without some major skeletons in the closet. That said, its a bit odd how we naturally assume that. Its almost like we hold people at fault for minor excentricities but excuse major ones thinking that they can't possibly be responsible for those.

I don't see myself watching this season as much as in the past. I'd likely be alternately bored by it and annoyed that they'd put such a troubled girl in difficult social situations trying to drive ratings from her adversity.

I haven't had a chance yet, but you know there will be a monger block sometime this weekend.

its such a caricature of itself. I mean, no longer does it represent the real world in manner, and while I know this has been said over and over, it stands to be said with every passing season. I know without drama and sexy people the show would be a bore, but honestly sometimes I think they go a bit too far in their quest. I did sit down and watch the first ep, I doubt I will watch any more unless I'm having a sleepless night.

Surprisingly, I've finally quit this show. There I said it.

Damn, that feels good.
