this was such a horrendous show. the rap thing was kinda amusing. i'm not sure i even cracked a smile through the rest of it.

You people are tough critics.

But I hated Jimmy Fallon, Will Ferrel, Cheri Oteri, and Molly Shannon. So I guess I find the current cast refreshing.

With a few exceptions, of course.

i've actually liked some episodes from this season (dane cook, jack black), but last night was in peter sarsgaard territory. and they used two recurring sketches that should've never materialized beyond a brainstorm. those drives me crazy.

Credit to them for making little music sketches. I still play the Narnia one. That one was pretty good as a skit and I thought the song was decent.

How long until this gets yanked down by NBC?

I'm all for defending copyright, but good christ, this is FREE ADVERTISING.

Okay, that was pretty awful. Apparently "Digital Short" is a white people rapping one trick pony. The Chuck Norris thing was incredibly stupid as well.

the ones that get posted on messageboards on sunday afternoon are. they've had a few others that have nothing to do with music, like the lettuce grower's commercial and the tangent. i actually liked the lettuce one.

I admittedly haven't turned on SNL since about 1/3 of the way through the performance of that "You're Beautiful" shit stain from James Blunt.

I meant the rest of the episode. That was amusing, but not as good as Lazy Sunday.

I might even possibly consider maybe going to see V for Vendetta.

yeah i thought the rap was funny....

there were a few funny skits last night, i thought.

snl has had its ups and downs but by no means should it be cancelled - give it some time.

not to mention, i like the fact that they have musical guests - that alone is worth it even if the show isnt all that great.

yeah granted there are some crap bands that have played on there, but really good ones as well.

That was amusing but, I agree that the raps are becoming now a reason for people to tune in, and they will get old fast.

Anyone else think Natalie Portman is more attractive with shorter hair than with long locks? I dig her current 'do.

I'll watch next week for the Artic Monkeys.

not really the point, i'm just saying it's had it's time and should've been cancelled a few years ago.

letterman, leno, conan, kimmel, ferguson and last call have a better variety of bands.
