That doesn't exactly look delicious. But, I will take your word for it.

I think I have actually been to one of those. I had a coney. Is this correct? I went there once with my friend from college. The day after I went to a Jazz club in Cincinatti called "The Blue Wisp". I thought that place was great.

Also, why is it that there is a billboard upon entering Cincinatti that says, "Keep the Nati clean." Talk about a double-entendre.

Aaahh, the weekend.

Tonite: go get drunk with my boy Jigga, who's still in town "Painting a Water Tower" which I am starting to believe is true, because no one stays around this long just for a coke deal.
Friday: Prolly hungover. Suffer/Slog through call time. Maybe get to run downtown and slap the shit outta somebody for some massive cash.

Now for the broken rekkid:
Drive to Montgomery. Take FEMGAR out to dinner.
Saturday: her parents arrive. Her and her mom BORE THE ABSOLUTE SHIT OUT OF ME with wedding plans. I will probably attempt to alphabetize my cds on my fine new cd rack/bookcase. And take to nipping off a whiskey bottle stashed under my bed.
Sunday: More of the same. Maybe go out to dinner. Definitely watch the Sopranos. Plan for another week of drudgery, starting with the 2.5 hour drive at 5 am Monday morning.

Dude, wedding planning is the worst. Nothing good can come from your involvement in it. I pretty much said, "I'll take care of the band, y'all do the rest. And even that backfired in my face."

tonight: probably not much, i haven't been wanting to go out on weeknights lately (wow, that's a first). i'm supposed to check out this apt tonight.

tomorrow: not sure... supposed to hang out with this dude but nothing set in stone. might go down to long beach for the funk night if he flakes.

saturday: unfortunately, a funeral. my friend's brother passed away last week. there's a slight chance i might go check out goldfrapp that night but i don't know if i'll really be in the mood to go out.

sunday: SEASON PREMIERE OF THE SOPRANOS! so, sopranos party.

I have tried that, to no avail. She wants a band. I want a DJ...so I can make the stuff I want homeboy to play. Somehow she thinks that my taste run contrary to the mainstream. I am only adamant that if The Chicken Dance or Margaritaville get played, someone gets KO'd.

So, I just smile and nod. ;)

Dude, put that size 22 down and get a DJ. Bands at weddings are terrible ideas, it's usually way too loud and let's face it, these guys are playing at fucking WEDDING! How great could they be?

I only nixed the Chicken Dance other than that, I let play whatever makes the guests happy.

I've been home most of the week due to a child with bronchitis. Now I've got a cold. damnit.

Tomorrow: Work, leave early. Chill at home with a book while husband plays solo show that I'm too sickly to go to.

Sat: Lingerie shopping in A.M. Get hair done late afternoon. Go to a wedding sat night.

Sun: Sleep and relax with husband. Read. Finish baby registry(man is this fun to do).

Mon: Clean. Run errands. Read. Yeah.

I'm relaxing Friday night and packing for my weekend trip.
Saturday: I am going to see Jenny Lewis at the Scottish Rite Hall in Omaha and spending the night in the Old Market.
Sunday: Relax at home once we get back. I would be packing for a week long trip to Milwaukee with my girlfriend and her family, but I can't afford to take off and we are super busy next week.
