Happy Ashtray - "Show You My Hand"
http://s57.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=04I8 ... 5YX0MHRGDI

This is a guy that I went to Junior High and H.S. with, John Swamy. I haven't seen him in years, but we got along. He's a big guy... approaching 7-ft. in High School, and had great stage presence even then in his band "7 and the Midgets" (with guitarist J. Niimi, who was later the drummer of Ashtray Boy).

Anyway, this is a cool song and the album is pretty damn solid all the way through (and includes a wonderful cover of GBV's "Smothered In Hugs")

Hope you enjoy.

I found out Beck is a Scientologist.

Not that there's anything wrong with that...

I downloaded a bunch of songs from their website a few years back on your recommendation. I remember thinking they were ok to good, but haven't had much urge to revisit them. I don't remember them sounding anything like Beck, YLT or GBV though.
