Dammit. We're headed outta town to GA/FL for a 5 day Trail Of Tears death march. Gotta see my dad and her 4 friends who all had babies within the last 4 months. I don't even wanna compute the mileage.

It's hard to come by on-street parking, but there's a three- or four-story structure on Plankinton, just north of Riverside and Mo's. There's also a surface lot, same vicinity, right along the river.

Nope. And it's a cryin shame... that'd make the trip remotely enjoyable. We're bypassing Home Base this time entirely. Jacksonville, Valdosta, and then North-ATL-Sprawl. Boom boom boom. Leaving saturday night, home thursday evening. Madison - ATL = 850 miles each way, so... blech.

We had a great time last time, btw. I always mean to give you kudos for being something about the dirty south the wife can truly enjoy.

Exactly. I was driving into work today, and going up North Sixteenth, I passed another Irish Pub, this one off the Marquette campus, and it was already done up to the hilt for St. Patrick's. All I can think -- motherfuckers know how to party... But it will be hell to get around, prolly.
