His eponymous 1978 solo album (featuring this track) is an amazing hard rock album. It holds its own with most of the best KISS, Judas Priest and Black Sabbath etc. albums of that era.

I have to disagree with that. I remember buying ALL FOUR solo albums in '78 and after listening to them thinking that, "Great, they each wrote one good song and recorded an album full of laughable material." Every now and then I revisit these and unintentionally get a good giggle.

which CD? I have the three albums. I had a bunch of rarities some months back, but I axed them because theywere really low quality.

It's probably one of my favourite KISS albums, I never get tired of hearing it. One of the first albums I ever had on vinyl, after KISS Alive I and II.

I used to have the Space Ace action figure with the huge hands.

Now Ace & Peter look like old Jewish women.
