New Wilco songs...anybody been to a show or downloaded any?

I don't know how much everyone around here still loves Wilco (I know Jen's wilcolove seriously took a hit after A Ghost Is Born) but I've been reading setlists lately and have been intruiged the apparition of new song titles. For example,

maybe the sun will shine today
walken
either way
is this the thanks i get?

Has anybody seen them on this recent southeastern swing? Anybody planning on it. I hope one of our Nashville representatives will be hitting up the Ryman.

i saw tweedy perform this at his solo show here a couple weeks ago. it was good, but i'm sure will sound much different once it's wilco-ized.

there's actually no better way to describe it.

this and radiohead are my number one most anticipated new releases.

A Friend who saw them in Athens recently said the few new songs were pretty damn good, one was a ballad, one sounded like a weird zeppelin tune.

I'll be excited to hear these. My Wilco obsession also took a hit with AGIB but it probably had to do more with being drenched in Wilco for a couple years straight and just burning myself out on them a little. They are still one of about about 4 or 5 bands that I'll always be excited to hear new material from.

also, AGIB was recorded with a new band.
now that they will be more road tested i'm excited to hear how they sound.

Actually I don't think that some of the players from the AGIB tour were even on the record, I believe Nels Cline and Pat Sansone joined later. That being said, when I heard that Nels joined the band I nearly shit myself, I was a Geraldine fibbers fan when I was really young and I loved his playing with Mike Watt.

This will be the first fullly realized lineup record, I can't wait.

because it was in the f'n concrete box of the Classic Center Exibition Hall? That place is the world's worst concert venue.

Chase, I'll be catching them on Friday at the Ryman and will let you know how the new songs turn out.
