You were there? Did I know that? Shit.

I just have to say that The Editors were on fire this past week. Got to hang with them a bit of the time -- we kept finding each other at the same shows.

Aural, I had 3 friends in from NY and my Austin peeps around, so I never tried to find the obner folks. My bad.

Editors were great. They're aggressive, tight, and focused. I really enjoyed their set. My friend tried to mack on Tom cause she thought he was good looking, but then his girlfriend showed up, so, no go.

Hot Chip were incredible. Great energy, crazy sounds, totally nerdy cool.

The Go! Team have to be seen to be believed. They've turned a DJ record into a great live band - the songs are very different from the record, but maintain the same attitude.

People that sucked include controller.controller, Small Sins, Jim Noir, and Blackbud.

What did you think of the Brunettes and Band of Horses? I'm bummed that I didn't go this year.

Band of Horses sounded great - I am eager to hear their CD. The My Morning Jacket comparisons are apt. They had major sound problems at the show I attended, but had fun with it (they kicked the broken mikes off the stage, then followed another mic stand around when the hinge broke and it started swiveling everywhere).
