Probably in the minority here, but did anyone else pick this release up? Nothing out of the ordinary with this release but I was a wee bit surprised that he took more from Gram Parsons in the rock dept than Motorhead in the rock dept. The band also has Chris Chaney from Jane's Addiction btw. It seems like all the reviews I've read equate this to a shoutout to classic rock, and while I'd be willing to agree, don't write this off, nor think that jangly rock riffs that make you feel like yr in the desert are a bad thing!
