Hey Thom, thanks for turning this into a publicity stunt for yourself instead of trying to do some good...

Dude's truly a putz. Here's a chance to get some major publicity for his cause, and he walks away like a sulking schoolboy.

Pretty funny when you consider Jessica Simpson made news last week for snubbing the president.

Yea, that will help.

Did any of you guys see the Britpop film - "Live Forever" which focused on the Britpop revival and really centered around Oasis and Blur? Tony Blair came in and buddied up with the bands and Liam kind of became his little bitch. Blair used these bands to generate popularity for himself and then tossed them aside. Yorke sounds pretty fucking smart to me to recognize this obvious ploy from Blair and stay the fuck away.

"Hey, my approval rating is in the toilet, let me leetch onto another popular rocker and get the kids behind me once again"

I did see that. In that regard, I could see why Yorke would keep his distance.

Hasn't Yorke been invited to talk with Blair personally and turned him down. I don't necessarily blame him, since it would probably turn into a media puff piece event and Yorke probably wouldn't get to say much, but given the opportunity to tell the leader of your country off for betraying his parties ideals, he should have taken it.
It seemed to be me that Yorke had alot of hope for Tony Blair and now feels cheated.
