i was going to buy the murs album i listed above that now does not work, but upon reading pitchfork media and finding out that it is "a record that does not contain one nigga, bitch, faggot, brick, time served, or clip emptied, and still is not a steaming mess of defanged braggadocio about commitment to the four elements" I said fuck that and got me this:

I really like the track "Murs Day" off the new one. It's kinda short, but definitely has the strong points of both Murs and 9th. It's got the old soul vocal sample, Murs doin his usual shit, etc... It sounds like it could've been left off 3:16. It's on the mix I posted yesterday if you want it, dick.

Some of his stuff is more abstract/noodly than others. For example, his work on Wildchild's Secondary Protocol is pretty straightforward and clear-cut. Have you heard that one at least?

The JDilla album is quality. I really like it alot. Its great to drive around to and pop your head into every once in awhile. Its not gonna become a club knockout, but it'll keep yr toe tapping.
