Damn, although much more amusing considering I had the volume down and Steely Dan's "Janie Runaway" was playing over top it.

My kitty just got his eyeball removed as a result of it being poked.

That is all.

I'm sure there is a story behind this but I'm not sure if I want to know, or do I?

But are you going to re-name it "Sammy"?

I don't know what the video is, but the thread titled reminded me of my cat's recent ordeal.

Basically, his eye was poked by the claw of one of our other cats while they were playing. It got infected and yada yada yada... one eyed kitty. He's all freakish looking right now with stitches and a cone collar, but he'll recover fine and be our pirate kitty. arrrr

That's exactly what I was thinking. If you find kitty sized pirate gear before I do, buy it and I'll pay you back.

It's been a few weeks since my wife let me "poke the kitty."

Awesome. I'm pretty sure having a pirate cat will just never get old.

Not if you're the cat.

You have to be careful coming up on him from the right side, but he's the most amazing little boy. Still purring and friendly. He's our teddy bear.

I was more referring to the costume. Any cat in a costume always looks pissed beyond belief. Dogs don't care cuz dogs have no dignity. Cats, on the other hand; vain as hell.

Oh yeah, after his enduring of the cone collar I have no plans to dress him up. I foresee many pirate comments directed at the little guy, though.

I don't really get hangovers. If I could pass that handy little ditty along to you I would do it.

I condone this thread, and the use of cat pirate gear.
