Chowgurt brought this up in Prince's thread, I did'nt wanna hijack that thread cuz his song is worth the listen.

While looking at imac's to possibly buy I saw the Garageband program and wondered how user friendly it might be. What peripherals are needed to record intruments directily to pc or is that not how it's done? Is it worth its grain compared to other 4 tracker or multi trackers?
