I hear you. I really liked the WM album, it even made my top 20 last year, but every time i hear them now, the more i start to think JET. But i would MUCH much rather hear Wolfmother than this crap.

Getting tired, very tired.

Stick to the Vines

Completely horrible. Wasted nearly 3 minutes before I stopped it.

I have no idea why I even bothered with this.

Who exactly judges the John Peel unsigned band award?

Probably the sort of knobends John hated.

Mm it was the Glastonbury John Peel stage unsigned band award after further checking.

Thank goodness for that. But still how dare they grace a stage that is named after Mr.Peel.

I haven't listened to the song, but Mad Staring Eyes might be the most uselessly pretentious band name since An Emotional Fish. Makes Morningwood seem subtle and poetic.

World Leader Pretend is pretty bad. Good song title. Not good band name.

There's a least 30 emo bands with worse nomenclature, though.

There's a least 475 emo bands with worse nomenclature, though.

clarification: There's at least 30 emo bands I know about with worse names. That's more than enough to stomach.

It's not. Two of my favorite bands are U2 & The Darkness and rather than admit my love for this and lose my "indie cred" i switched the word best with worst for a disguise.

i have their EP, and honestly can't see them / don't understand why they would be getting very big. i've read the hype, but they don't sound overly interesting to me.

I told them that when they named it. Eventually they agreed (they were only 17-18 when they did it) but it was too late. They already had to much name recognition.
