i just saw a clip on TV and the guy was actually emotionally screaming the lyric "I'm meeeltiiiing".

Then later they interviewed the band and all the other members were discussing how the singer is a tortured genius with deep emotional issues.
WTF? Is this a joke.

well i know this can be sort of rude to talk about.. but we had poetry day the other day. this sophomore or something read this awful poem he wrote about his friend who killed himself. i felt bad for saying it was awful but it went somehting like "we're shedding tears and overcoming fears, youre having a ball and we're breaking down walls, it's too bad your dead at communion i ate bread"

i don't know. everyone was supposed to at sympathetic and sad and say how great and profound the poem was but i was thinking "what the fuck" do the dead kid a favor and not write a poem about him if it's going to suck.

not to be insincere or anything.
god i hope nobody at my school reads this. oh well. 2 months until i graduate anyways.

this entire post pertains to the tortured genius shit. if you have to say youre a tortured genius.. i don't know. you deserve a tigers paw shoved down your throat.

i always get this in my poetry class, girls writing poems about their boyfriends and vice versa and suicide and death and grandma's got cancer. I have to always pretend i've dropped something under the desk and have a (not so) quiet chuckle. Fucking idiots.

This is not a band I'm fond of, as such. Not so much.

Yergh-gack, in fact.

There was once a Used song I liked. I don't remember which one it was.

Never heard the Used, but I just saw a Panic! At The Disco video for the first time and it made me want to simultaneously destroy my TV and start listening to jazz.

Death would be too kind.

we're sorry you got dumped by Kelly Osbourne like 3 fucking years ago...if your soul is that tortured then you should probably off yourself.

i was thinking something with sharp objects in it.
knives, arrows, glass. if you actually want to appear to have the authority to tell someone to shut the fuck up, then maybe you should stop using the internet lingo such as wtf and stfu so that you don't appear to be in middle school.
god i've always hated lolz and omgz and wtfs.

Didn't that guy used to date Kelly Osbourne? That may explain the "tortured" part.

I remember when I liked Taking Back Sunday, The Used first came into the public eye. And I was like "what the shit is this? It's the exact same thing." They even both had singles with the exact same lyrics.

I grew out of the TBS pretty quickly, but always resented the Used for their duplication skills.

It may be my lack of sleep, but I just spent the last five minutes laughing at the guy to the far right.

My roommate just played me The Used and Panic! at the Disco the other day. I had no clue they were pop-punk/screamo/whatever. I just assumed Panic! was some retro 80s dance ripoff band. At least I wasn't missing anything
