I wanted to check it out but I had my family over for dinner last night.

i caught the second half hour during the scrubs rerun. seems like abc is trying to grab arrested development fans but it's lacking the wit and humor.

The only break in our Sopranos marathon (we are trying to finish last season before Sunday) was to watch The Shield.

I heard a couple of audio clips on the radio though, something about the daughter asking the mom about having sex....sounded a little painful.

Is it improv like Curb Your Enthusiasm?

It was like an Arrested Development rip off with people not as good looking, writing not as good, a lack of a plot, and bad SNL type humor.

I would rather watch my Arrested Development DVD's.

dude, I wanted copies of the pics.

The last two eps of the The Shield have been tremendous. I have no idea why more people don't appreciate this show

I watched a little of the Shield last night. While I enjoyed it, I caught it in the middle and it was my first time watching it. I had no clue what was going on.

I actually like the show. It's obviously not as good as arrested but it does have it's moments.

I watched two seconds of it before Boston Legal came on, and I had no idea what was happening. I've always kinda meant to watch it, but I'm sure I never will.

It's a good show but it won't last. I'm amazed that any good shows actually get green-lighted this far on network tv.

This is a good show. It's definitely better than I expected. The "O Face" guy from Office Space (Whitey) steals every scene he's in. And I genuinely like the main guy (Cameron), even though he's supposed to be the snivelling wuss. My only real complaint about this show is that fucking Grateful Dead music they feel complelled to play as background music throughout each episode's opening scene.

Oh, and Wojo as the step-patriarch is pretty solid casting, as well.

I like this show a lot. Those who see it as an Arrested Development rip-off should watch again. The only thing it has in common with AD is that it's centered on a family. This show doesn't have any of the wackiness of AD (a show I LOVED, by the way). This is much more just a straight, funny show.

And yes, at least some of the dialogue is improvised. No idea how much though.

Yeah, way less manic than AD. I think it's great - next to the Office, just about the only thing I watch.

Apparently the main Cameron guy is the director, creator, writer, what-have-you

She looks just like the sister from The Wonder Years. Hott.
