I'm just listening to Major Stars' newest record "Syntoptikon" and thinking that they're an honest, raw, noodly, unabashedly okay, thus verifiably awesome typification of the staying power of mid-90s alternative rock. A friend played me a 7" they did called "Black Road" that is super crunchy, and I've been checking out bits and pieces since then. Major Stars are very easy to love, I'm finding.
