Are you a fan? I've been searching for This Ain't Hollywood and Boys Will be Boys forever, and was curious if you had it or had come across them on your excursions to those excellent regional used cd stores.

I found In Love with the System and Pride and Disgrace a couple of years ago at a Sudury music fair. It was like discovering a gold amongst all that nickel.

The only thing of their's that I've got is the two-fer CD of Untitled + Surfin' On Heroin.

The latter is their debut, I believe. It's got all the stuff I know and like on it (ie: "Bomb The Boats", "I'm In Love With The System", "Elvis Is Dead", "Live Strippers In Action", and the title track). Untitled, on the other hand, is from later in their career and it sucks large balls.

On the In Love with the System release, there is their first EP called Tomorrow Belongs To Us. It's pretty raw, but good. The two I'm looking for are sort of their "glam" period. It's very Mott. All I've got of those two albums is a dubbed cassette recording of a dubbed cassette recording passed down from a friend's brother. The tape is over 20 years old and I'm afraid to play it anymore. Hence, The Search.

And yeah, everything post-Pride is fucking horrible. I haven't seen them in awhile, but they were still bringing it live.

I'll keep an eye out for both of those releases then. I'll report back if I find them.

btw - isn't there some Obnerd from Toronto that's a big Fog Reb fan?

Many thanks, I got slim pickin around here for good used, unless you count old Trixter cds.

And I had no idea there was another Rebel fan on the board. I hope they make themselves heard here.
