I know it isn't even thursday night, but I'm travelling this weekend and am nosy enough to care what other people are doing.

Friday:
I'm working the Nebraska State FFA Conference from 6:30am-3:30pm. Then I am driving 2.5hrs to Norfolk, NE to visit my mom, since I am moving next weekend during Easter. My brother (Rough Gem) and I will probably do some drinking somewhere and just generally sit around and listen to music.
Saturday:
I am visiting my dad in Pierce, NE with my other siblings. We are having an "Easter" meal.
Sunday: Drive back 2.5hrs and prepare for another five days of work.

We are?

It's two hours if you don't drive like the people you're riding with drive.

last night i saw dinosaur jr for my second time. wonderful.
tomorrow it's a half day at school and i'm going to paint all day, then i don't know what i'll do that afternoon, but i'm hanging out with christian.
who knows what we'll do. perhaps check out the art galleries and go to the record store or something. my car is acting up, though.
from then on it's spring break so i have 9 days of weekend fun.

Sat: No idea! I am delighted to have a free night.
Sun: Supposedly playing softball with a bunch of indie rockers. Not too sure about this.

This is my last weekend before I'm living with my girlfriend again. I keep forgetting this.

ugh. Spending it wasted at the Jersey shore with a pretty rawdy contingent of my immediate family and a few others. I'm still considering blowing it off to catch the Hold Steady in Brooklyn, but I doubt I'll be able to.

gonna be a busy weekend of networking for me...

TONIGHT: vhs or beta is doing a dj set. i don't care for a dj set by a band, but my boss got me tickets so now i have to go. it'd be rude if i didn't.

TOMORROW: a couple of my good friends are spinning at a techno / electro gig. have to go support.

SATURDAY: friend's birthday bbq / party.

SUNDAY: brunch with phil & la ob crew. more techno festivities at night- APPARAT!

bring back a review of guillemots. i'm sorta into them, but the singer's voice sometimes annoys me. he needs to be on broadway with clay aiken or something.

Will do. I'm not a fan from what i've heard so far, but would like to see them live.

haha, this reminds me... I got an invitation to a family reunion in the mail the other day. The first thing I saw was "no alcohol, no pets." I trashed it immediately. What's a family reunion for if not to get trashed to remind yourself you really don't come from these rednecks? ;)

Working all weekend as a grip on a project I fucking wrote 'cuz I need the cash.

[bad film crew joke]Q: What's the difference between a grip and an electric?

A: The electric pees in the sink AFTER he does the dishes. [/bad film crew joke]

Now: Hanging at home listening to Riviera on the internet radio, gonna order a pizza, read and watch tv with the husband.

Tomorrow: Work is gonna suck. Then do nothing at night but watch a movie with husband.

Saturday: Sleep in. Grocery shop, other errands. Clean a little. Read. Go see Riviera at DD.

Sunday: Sleep most of the day. Eat a lot. Read. Finish Buffy season 1 on dvd, maybe start season 2.

are you joking?
no.
i'm going to be here in this godforsaken town cooking and feeding a wide range of children, driving said children around, doing laundry and wishing i was making out with diane lane in unfaithful. what else would i be doing? what else could possibly be more fulfilling?

huh? Huh? HUH?

edit: and thanks to the asshole who always starts this thread at dawn on thursday. i need an extra day to think about just how routine my life has become lately.
