You always hurt the ones you love..

Well, I love my knee and I hurt it good today.

I was on the phone with my boss and I somehow slipped on the front deck of the store. The conversation may have gone something like this:

Me :: "Yeah I can get that number for you, just give me one..."

BAM! *possible girly yelp* *boss laughing in background"

Me :: "..." "..." "..." "... OWWWW"

Boss :: *laughing*

Me :: "Oh god, that really hurt. I went down hard! I don't remember the last time I fell"

Boss :: *laughing* "Yeah, you pushed a button on the phone, too..." *laughing* "No worker's comp!"

Thanks, boss...

And now I've got this huge, baseball sized lump on my right knee. I think I'm going to draw a smiley face on little knee Jr. and name him Skippy.

just be glad the bruises aren't on both knees, or people will be gettin' ideas, if ya know what i mean.

Still though, fun knee activities are kaput for a while.

ouch, throw some ice on that sucker.





this weekend in Sea Isle City I was in the most depressing liquor store/republican stronghold of all time standing on something of a precarious ledge when the six pack of Beck's I was reaching for tore in my hand and rolled out off the shelf. I basically tried to catch it with my legs, didn't happen. I did prevent it from breaking, however, when my kneecap cushioned the fall of both myself and the bottle. it hurt like a bastard.

I caught a glass jar between the kitchen counter and my hip the other day.

Like a cat, I tell ya...

I have a scar on my left thumb from a tuna can... wasn't 89, but it was a while back.

That is one good looking bruise. Bruises like that need a good story behind them. Maybe ninjas jumped you and you beat the hell out of them or something like that.
