I like all Police albums and solo Sting through Ten Summoners Tales. After that, the suck.

I like Mercury Falling too. I think the perception of his solo work suffered a lot from his awful choices for singles. "We'll Be Together" and "If You Love Someone, Set Them Free" were among the worst songs on their respective albums.

However, I agree with Phil that the Police were way awesomer. But you can hear the development on the Synchronicity album.
