For some reason, I sometimes forget about shows that I have gone to see. Mainly this happens I think because I just go because my friend wants me to and not because I am really a fan of the band. Well, yesterday, an old show came to my mind. I saw Clutch with Alabama Thunder Pussy or something like that. I can't remember their name. However, Clutch put on a great show. I never have been a huge fan but the show was awesome.

This ever happen to anyone else?

I'm sure if I had more shows under my belt I'd forget one here or there, but as it stands, no.

I lose track of some of the artists I've seen multiple times--I don't really forget the show, I just lose count. Usually it's the opening band that jogs my memory.

i forget everything.

I've got some friends that are huge Clutch fans, and they're mostly people whose opinions I trust. As it stands though, the only song of theirs I've heard was a cover of Pink Floyd's "Money", which i didn't really like the first time around, and really didn't like when they did it.

Doesn't work when it's "money at the door", or for the days when a radio station gig got you on the list "+1".

I rarely forget seeing someone, but I never keep track of when I actually saw them. The last three years I have went to so many shows, that I always say I saw them last year or two years ago, just to be safe.

I wouldn't forget who I saw if it was a band I liked, you know. I just went because my friend was going. If I set out to go to a show I don't typically forget it.

Anyway, the show had a ton of energy and the performance was really good.

I have never seen Clutch discussed here. I wonder why? Do people here think they suck?

I have nothing against Clutch, a decent number of people I hang out with at bars love Clutch and tend to be mostly metal fans. I just never associate them with Obner and sort of assumed they weren't a band most Obnerians follow.
