1. Guest musicians: John Neff & JoJo Herman are two dudes that I really like and respect. And. Wild. Animals.

2. "Recorded on glorious two-inch analog recording tape"

That just warms my heart.

Yeah, Pitchfork mentioned JoJo, and i thought about you, and then I tried to slit my wrists.

I thought Jeff Tweedy bought up all the analog tape. Did they trade him a handful of Vicodin and a two half bottles of Robitussin?

There's a dude in Athens who does sound at the GA theatre and owns a small studio and vintage equipment repair shop who I know for a fact (b/c he got us some) has connections to 2" tape. Also their producer David Barbe (you may remember him as the bassist for Sugar) has all kinds of connections to those kinds of things.

Edit: Footnote: I bet the 2" inch tape we used for a demo several years ago has been resold since we didnt beat it up too bad.

Man, they're just a bunch of cockteases.

Bragging about 2 inch and not putting out vinyl = girl who talks a good game but doesn't swallow and just lays there.

I bet they release it at some point since I think that they have put out everything else on vinyl so far.

If not, yeah--cockteases.

John Neff is a badass, but he can never remember my name... He plays with tons of bands still here in town; the only one I can think of right now is Lona, which is not that big, since it's Clay Levrett's thing, and he spends most of his time as the drummer for Now It's Overhead.
David Barbe is also a badass. As is Don Chambers.

I did not realize that John Neff played on the new DBT album.

Yeah, John is a slut. Also played with Japancakes, Star Room Boys (R.I.P), and the Two Dollar Pistols among others.

He also played on Decoration Day].

I didn't know he played in NIO..I was at the first Lona show at Tasty World...got kinda dragged there, got drunk..they played "Neighbours" and so I have always remembered that.

Oh, and the drummer may as well be Ben Jammin, Bloor.

And Patterson looks like a fucking DOLT. Tuck your shirt in.
