Jack Black is a golden god as far as I'm am concerned. His facial expressions make any movie worth seeing.

And then there's this chick

Image

Plays a nun and a nun that i fuh. She looks like a more innocent Penelope Cruz, and I am all about that.

The wrestling scenes were all hilarious, especially the one involving the midget monkey twins. Beautiful scenery as well in Oaxaca. Much better than Napoleon Shitomyte.

I heard/read this movie was about as good as a Mexican donkey show.

Jack Black is rarely able to carry a movie, any movie.

See: King Kong, Shallow Hal, etc. (but not School Of Rock which was good)

The boys want to see this.
We are going to take them.
I'm sure they'll love it.

As far as Jack Black is concerned, he's usually excellent in supporting roles, but as a lead he's just too damn much.

Seconded. I think his King Kong performance is really underrated because of his reputation going into it and being compared to Brody and Watts.

School of Rock is fun, though, and the Tenacious D record is hilarious.

I agree Colin about King Kong...

I'm not trying to say that Orange County and Bongwater are great films, I'm just saying that Jack Black has his shtick and it's awesome. People so bitter that they can't even enjoy a little Mexican wrestling...

I like jack black, but this movie still looks terrible. He's just raising cash for the Tenacious D movie.

did you know Jack Black is in Dead Man Walking?
For real.
It was on the other day, he is one of Sean Penn's brothers.
I'll be damned.

Also, Peter Scarsgaard (yum) is the boy who was murdered.

Wasn't awful. Wasn't great. Had a few moments of laughter, mainly the wrestling scenes. I'll probably never see it again.

Seconded on both counts. This looks almost as bad as his worst film, Saving Silverman. That is one awful movie.

i have a secret love for that tenacious d album & school of rock was a lot of fun. i also look forward to seeing him in kong, but this movie reeks of S.T.O.O.P.I.D.
