is a nice guy. He just gave a talk. I approached him afterwards, and said "as a University of Georgia alumnus (he grins), I must offer you two small apologies (he clasps my tiny shoulder in his enormous hand), and one enormous thank-you for Auburn." He laughed. Pleasant guy to have a beer with.

Once I convince Loog to move here, it's a done deal.

Nebraskans keep hoping the regents grow tired of the current AD and bring in Alvarez, since this is where he played college ball and he had ties to Kevis Cosgrove, the current Nebraska Defensive Coordinator.

He talked about nebraska for almost half his 75 minutes, and mentioned them again to me. He's happy, but he described his best decision in life (after wife) as "going to college in nebraska."

He left Nebraska just as they were getting real good, and missed out on the first National Championship team by one year.

I ran into Andrew Bogut at the grocery store tonight. We didn't talk. We didn't need to.

Plus, Bogut was buying Vegimite, which is plainly disgusting and left such a sour taste on the brain that jericho couldn't think of anything to say.

Not really. He needs to bulk up a bit. I was going to show him the protein bars but Midnight Oil came on in the store and he tried lighting everything on fire. It was weird.

Barry's one of THEM, and he didn't want Squirrrggg's to get him deported.... So of course he'd be nice.

If this interview thing works out, I could be convinced to jump north on I-94.

My boy asked R. Lee Ermey to sign an 8x10 with "Only faggots and sailors are named Shane." He said he would if the History Channel weren't paying for the trip.

What's weird is that Andrew Bogut proclaimed that "R. Lee Ermey is a fucking poof".

Wisconsin is now in my states I want out of the union (along with CT) list

Had to drive to Bombingham this morning, and no less than FOUR cars with Wisconsin plates were, at separate times along a nintey mile stretch of interstate, going 70 in the left lane.

Then there was the Eclipse that decided to play the "pass me, then go slow" game.

for their sins, you shall all be punished.

BLECH!!

In Milwaukee they'll cut you off non-stop and they speed like mad men. It's an adventure...but not as crazy as Seattle can get.

What are the other states? I'd say Wisconsin is one of the states I truly respect. Madison is/was a commie liberal colllege town with a kick ass football stadium and a decent music scene. It is basically everything Lincoln could hope to be, but isn't quite there yet. Milwaukee is the mecca of cheap, crappy beers and those Wisconsin Synod Vicars always seemed pretty cool as neighbors.

You just got a group of Wisconsin Mary Kay-ers in front of you, coming back from a convention or some shit, Loog. It's a decent place. We use turn signals, unlike Illini.

CONNECTICUT -- always under construction, a bedroom community for rich assholes who can't hack The City, and filled with open dummies. BLECH.

And Squrig -- this appeared to be a car full of collegians on the wya back from some kind of break, and some snowbirds. I will say, that I hate the state of Michigan, but at least the 2 vans full of everything they owned were properly driving in the right lane.

I always thought New York should have offered to trade Long Island for Greenwich and Stamford.
