that'd be me. it's with visual level 4 at the center for art that i attend.

it's the first time i'll be showing in the city. i'm excited. if anyone happens to stumble into richmond that weekend it'll be at artworks off of hull street.

it's on their opening night, too. they have their openings on the last friday of each month, which means people who actually go to their openings will be there. i'm excited. and extremely nervous. i'm more concerned about the work i produce because i know people will be seeing it.. and critiquing it.. in front of me.

should i avoid being near my work like the plague or should i stand near it to hear the shit being talked about it?

we're making professional gallery cards for it. i'm excited. this is big. i've never really shown anywhere, i mean, i have, but never in a real gallery. i showed my work downstairs at the VMFA, and at botanical gardens, and a shop in carytown, and in school gallery shows because we have our own gallery, and at the omni and shit, but never at a real gallery.
though i guess the vmfa is exciting.

this is cool.

i mean, i've known for four years that my studies in the center for the arts led up to the show at the end of the fourth year, but now it's just a month away and it's actually becoming real to me.

Congratulations Elizabeth!

Even if you did know it was coming...

it'll be good. i'm in a class full of very talented people. it'll be really different. each of us definitely have our own concepts and manner of producing our work. i can't wait to see the outcome of our show and what each of us put in.

i'll put a picture of the gallery card up once we get them printed, or decide on the concept of it.

my wife has a studio in that gallery, so at some point i'll probably see your show.
