I have no clue, but it is amazing that only two guys rock so hard on that album.

I didn't hate it but I've not felt compelled to pull it out since, well, about a month after it came out. It didn’t seem that different from a lot of bands who were making similar music at the time.

Maybe I'll stick it on tonight just to reacquaint myself with it.

I'm salivating, too, and completely agree with your first comment. "Black History Month" can't be overplayed.

It took me a year to buy it, but I like it.

Great album, it's been a few months for me, but I still listen to it a ton.

I dig it still, but I only seem to listen to it when exercising.

Great album. I still have no idea where they got 1979 from though. Perhaps the year they were both born?

Death From Above 1979 = that whole Skylab crash scare. Anyone remember that?

There was already a band called Death From Above, thus they added 1979 to keep the DFA part.

I knew that, I was just wondering why 1979? (Which I guess south pacific's post answered)

I don't know the answer to your question either, but thanks to this post, it'll be my drive-home music. Did you see them on Conan? Max Weinberg jumped in and banged on the drums in the middle of the song, while the drummer sang.

After 1 March, it can be.

I'll be here all week, two shows per nite, and the 9.30 set is entirely different from the 6.45.
