I finally, after working here a year, got me a bike today. I got it for just riding around on the paths and around town. I think I may start riding to work once a week as well starting next week.

Here's the link.

Watcha think?

Looks cool. I need a new bike or at least need to fix up the one I have. I hate the colors on mine though.

This one retails for about $1200. But I did not pay that.

I'm guessing that one would be in the $800-$1000 range.

That's cooler than I was picturing, Buster.

And I thought you hated parody threads.

Wow, that's pretty pricey. You know how many CDs I can buy with that kind of money. ;)

Thread should really be called DAT DISCOUNT.

nice bike, Busty... don't forget to wear a helmet (I saw your helmet-less photo on the obner flickr page). Pretty cool to see this, as I just sat down after riding my bike today!

Sweet. Have you had disc brakes previously, or is this yr first foray into them? Is that a coffee mug?

Dig it. I'm thinking about getting a slightly larger XO-1, and giving mine to Deena.

Thoughts?

What made you go with the Soho?

Singlespeed though, but really if you are just cruisin' downtown do you need more? Good price too.

Coincidentally, I just saw dat bike. Was on the way home, saw Busty and the first mate filling up her tires at a bike shop air hose.

It's tight. It looks even cooler in person. Stout fork, discs, 'trager headset, kickass race wheels... jealous. Not too heavy, yet not too fragile.

I know. We have an absolute glut of bike shops.

I've never had disc brakes, or a decent bike for that matter.

It is indeed a coffee mug. It comes with it. Too bad I don't drink the stuff.

Just got back from riding around the lake. It was soooo awesome to do something outside besides running.

Best purchase in a few years no doubt.

That's a great bike from what I hear. I was waiting and waiting for these guys to start producing the Lemond Poprad Disc, but they keep pushing it back time and time again. So I just said fuck it and got the next best thing for me.

I would've gotten the XO-1 but I don't like the color that much.
