I got pulled up on stage to drum along with "Boys You Won't Remember"

Really great performance by the Wrens, as always. Thanks to Eric for helping me get an extra ticket.

Also, I passed along well wishes from KPH and Charli, and Kevin told me that he was just thinking about the three of us (among others) in an interview he did for Mojo magazine, because they asked him who he attributes the surprsiing recent success to and he answered "a handful of people, and I can name them"

He was basically referring to the CMJ board

such a nice group of guys

I spoke with Jerry, who commented on my Bon Savants t-shirt. He said I looked familiar. Anyway, we started talking about the Svs and he expressed surprise that they hadn't played Chicago before, and said they should. I suggested that the Wrens bring them out. He said they always get a good reaction when they play together.

We also talked about how long it's taken the Svs to put out their album with the "July, no, September, no November, no 2005, no 2006, etc." He said "they sound like us".

And Kevin re the wedding present...hahaha. Yeah he's been telling me that for a while now. That's funny.

Did you tell him I had to miss the show cause my husband knocked me up? hehee

I know, it clearly was entirely the result of the positive Pitchfork review.

Yeah, 10-12 people were drumming on the stage to "Boys..." in the London show in March.

Glad you had a great time, Matt.
