Does anyone know where I can possibly find those little Smurf figurines? The little rubber ones.

I think I've got a "Jokey" in a box somewhere.

Because Opa will do favors for you if you give them to him.

My friend's niece just recenlty discovered the Smurfs (My friend found some old VHS tapes with some episodes from the 80's) and the little girl is obsessed with them now. So I thought it'd be nice to get her some for her birthday. She doesn't even know they exist so it'll be a nice surprise for her.

ohhhhhhh, that's sweet.

i'll look around. i might have a stuffed smurf or some coloring books, too. i had a smurfette nightgown, but that comes in handy for roleplaying, so i'll keep that one.

there's a cable channel that shows the Smurfs and the Snorks everyday.

Its up there in like the 250's. I was watching an old "Tick" episode the other night and checking out the selection on the old cartoons channels.

That's so sweet of you, but there's no need. I just found a German company who still makes them and luckily, they just released a new series of classic Smurfs like Papa, Grouchy, Brainy, etc. I'll get those for her. But thanks again.

Smurfs always felt like it was censored. Like the writers had put some harder-edged stuff in and networks lopped it out.

You just know there was a lotta shit going down in Smurfville.

when I was SEVEN YEARS OLD, we lived in Germany. With my meager allowance, I bought my brother 2 Smurfs figurines at the PX..One was Jokey and the other was eating a hamburger. HE BEAT ME UP.

Good story.

Yeh. I saw there were 18 posts in a thread about Smurf figurines, so I figured the thread must've taken a turn for the amusing. I was dead wrong.

I collected troll dolls and was, of course, the coolest kid in school.
